The View from the Back of the House

I chose to blur this picture deliberately.  I wanted to make it seem like an impressionistic painting.  This view early in the morning resembles old pictures of Paris.  What's up with Paris?I am almost sure I never saw a view like this.  But somehow I remember pictures of Paris in an a gallery in NY.

SPRING COLORS

Congratulations, People are posting. And they are beautiful!

I am enjoying the sunsets in spring. Maybe I am just out more and I take the time to look around and see the colors. I must have drove my son crazy yesterday on our bike trip. I kept stopping and taking pictures. On rare occassions, I even hold my camera in one hand and steer the bike with the other hand. It is a little dangerous. The colors of spring are beautiful.

Flying around as we're consumed.

As the Feathery hurricane rushes past

Oxygen is taken from you real fast

slightly coughing, breathing, gasping for air

as the feathers rain down without a care

The ground below us looks like snow

Feathers sticking like glue from head to toe

Feathered chicken you think we be

Just a bunch of silly people basically is what you see

No Fuss, No Fights

Nobody breaking things down

Just nothing but screams, joys and laughter

Circus Hoopsters.....Zoom, Zang, Zing

Greetings everyone.........During the spring break the children of Crown Heights Youth Collective went to the Barnum & Bailey Circus as guests of Brooklyn Borough President Marty Markowitz.

This year the theme was magical..Zoom, Zang, Zing!!

The circus was a lot of fun. The youth especially liked the daredevils who performed on this.(which I called the HOOPS OF TERROR)...it was very exciting to watch!

A sign that Spring is here. The Grass is greener. The trees are looking more alive. The flowers are blossoming and more kids are coming out to play.. The heavy jackets are being pushed to the far side of the closet. Hoodies and sweaters are the new replacement. The nice weather is all around making enjoyable days.. So, stay back cold weather...stay far far away!!!!

Classic Mistake

My trip to the movies I saw a statue near the Shake Shack .They were selling different kinds of milkshakes .This picture was taken by mistake but it looked gorgeous to me. "Sometimes the best of things come to those who make mistakes".

Easter Bunny's Reunite!

Easter's here already! Spring is too! There is lots of things to do! Easter is an annual Christian festival in commemoration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ, observed on the first Sunday after the vernal equinox as the Gregorian calender and in Orthodox churches on the Julian calender. So, happy Spring and happy Easter! Ki

The light on my block caught me.  The block was gleaming.  I really like my block.  I like where I live.   

The block was shining.  The sun was making everything glisten like a diamond.   

New Camera Day

Finally we received our cameras and I think that we are going to start posting! j    

                                               

As soon I got my  camera I was happy I  started  to  take picture. K

I just got my camera and I am so happy! This is a gift to me. I feel everything for me has changed! So, lets see what happens. KI

I'm very happy that we got our nikon camera today. This class is very enjoyable for a sat morning. I will take some wonderful pictures in the coming weeks.  AG
